What is VineGraph?
VineGraph reads a chat history you export yourself from ChatGPT or Claude, finds the themes that repeat across it, and builds a picture of you from that, entirely on your phone. Nothing you import is ever uploaded anywhere.
Getting started
If you haven't imported your chat history yet, the full walkthrough (six small steps, for both ChatGPT and Claude) is here: Get your chat history out. Do it on a computer with your phone nearby. VineGraph reads the file once you pick it on your phone.
Common questions
The export email from ChatGPT or Claude never arrived.
It usually lands within a few minutes. Check spam/junk first. If it's been over an hour, request the export again from the assistant's own settings. This is something only ChatGPT or Claude can resend; VineGraph has no way to trigger it.
I don't see the right file when I try to pick it in VineGraph.
Look in your phone's Files app for the unzipped download. The file VineGraph needs looks like conversations.json. If you only see a .zip, tap it once first to unpack it, then try picking the file again.
Does anything leave my phone?
No. Your chat history, your photos (if you allow access), and everything VineGraph figures out about you all stay on your device. See our

How do I delete everything VineGraph knows about me?
Delete the app. Since nothing is stored anywhere else, that removes all of it, permanently, with nothing left behind.
Can I import from an assistant other than ChatGPT or Claude?
Not yet. ChatGPT and Claude are supported today. If there's another assistant you'd want to see supported, let us know using the contact below.
